Bio
Hylo is a musician and composer from London, UK.
At an early age Hylo had a deep love of music, learning the piano from the age of 5 and developing into a classically trained musician in piano and flute.
Growing up, Hylo was heavily inspired by pop/electronic music of the 80s and 90s as well as film music by Hans Zimmer, Dario Marianelli, Danny Elfman and John Williams.
It’s no wonder Hylo’s music often draws on the influence of those eras and styles.

Hylo has been writing songs and instrumental music for many years and welcomes you to discover music ranging from epic classical themes, thumping electronic dance and beautiful ambient soundscapes.
A love of multi genres permeates Hylo's compositions; ranging from fluent, melodic phrases to stomping motifs, modern vibes and dance beats, which Hylo describes as ‘mellotronic journeys’.
Hylo’s debut album, Urbanite, is a collection of city scene-scapes. A rumbling, exciting and diverse soundtrack perfect for getting things done, chilling out, study or whatever you feel like
